Toy FUNdamentals is a first year seminar designed to
introduce engineering design and prototyping through a
product type everyone has used: toys! This six week
class explores the design process through dissection and
design, discussing /applying what appeals to boys and girls,
prototyping of a new design, field testing, teamwork and
presentations.
Class Objectives:
- Gain a basic understanding of the
design process.
- Learn to actively and positively
function as a member of a team.
- Effectively communicate the
dissection, design, and results of both through
engineering presentations.
